Data Analysis with Excel for 🇮🇳 & 🇵🇭
Participants will learn the knowledge and skills to work with and analyze data and work with business cases using Microsoft Excel. The objective is to familiarize the participants with the fundamentals of how to manage, transform and analyze data using the various functions in Excel.
Hyper Island sessions are highly interactive and engaging. We let you try things by yourself, work in small group breakout sessions. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and engage with the facilitator. They will share many tools so that you will be able to develop data confidence and use back at work.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- Hands-on using functions in Excel
- Learn statistical and logical functions in Excel and apply them on data
- Learn how to create Pivot table and Pivot charts to analyse data
- Learn to create charts and build dashboards
- Learn storytelling with data and how to gather insights from
- dashboards/reports
- Experience reporting through business cases
Pre Requisites
Participants attending this course should have a very basic knowledge of excel and its working. This would enable them to understand this course better.

Our Singapore Campus is located at 991B Alexandra Road, a short walk from Labrador MRT station and directly opposite the PSA building. The 4,800 square foot space has been designed to inspire and enhance learning experiences. In the soundproof classrooms and ample studio space, collaboration and exploration thrive. Each classroom spans 52.7m², accommodating up to 35 students.
Unlike a conventional school campus, our space resembles an advertising agency, allowing for live project work, inspiration, and collaboration.

Please note that laptops are not provided by Hyper Island. Students are required to bring their own laptops for the course. WiFi will be available, and open-source tools will be utilised. Extension cables are provided so that laptops can be charged while in use.
