





Establishing Sustainability Stewardship - Rise of the Sustainability Officer(CSO)
However, there are many challenges in the developmental process of sustainability stewardship such as the alignment of stewardship strategy with the organisation’s sustainability goals and its overall strategic plan. It is also necessary to obtain buy-in from both internal staff and external stakeholders so that continuous upgrade on sustainability trends and changes is made a part of the organization improvements over time..
This 2-day workshop help participants learn how develop an appropriate sustainability stewardship strategy that attempts to engage both internal and external stakeholders to align both groups to the organisation’s sustainability goals and manage key sustainability risks.
Learning Outcomes:
- Institute sustainability stewardship strategy and policies for the organisation.
- Engage and support customers in the development of organisation’s sustainability goals and metrics.
- Obtain buy-in from both internal and external stakeholders on the development of sustainability goals for the organisation.
- Monitor and report of customer’s progress in meeting sustainability goals.
- Establish goal congruency between stewardship outcomes for customers and organisation’s own sustainability goals and holders’ engagement in sustainability stewardship platforms.
