





Power of Networks Science
This short course will allow you to explore existing networks and build new ones. It will give you a vocabulary and a set of tools to construct, map, measure, observe and sometimes manipulate networks: platforms, groups, connected teams, and the internet of things. You will consider a future completely networked full of intelligent objects, personalised marketing and behaviour surveillance. You will explore the business opportunities and some of the dangers such as fake news and cyber attacks.
Learning Outcomes:
- Describe the features and uses of networks as ways to understand the digital world.
- Identify and visualise networks in their own lives and work contexts.
- Discuss the power of networks as tools to grow influence, tackle problems and build your brand and your business.
- Describe some network dangers and approaches to solving them.

At Hyper Island, we believe in "Telling less & Doing more" Hyper Island Learning Experiences are highly interactive and engaging.
