Before becoming Master's Programme Director at Hyper Island, Peachy capped her 25-year career in marketing communications as Ogilvy & Mather Philippines' Chief Executive. 


She assumed many roles over the years --  Executive Creative Director (Advertising, CRM, Action, Design and Interactive) as well Regional Creative Director for Pantene ASEAN, ANZ, India, and Knorr across Asia. 


Peachy shifted gears and became Chief Strategist driving cross-discipline integration prior to navigating the largest agency discipline through its digital transformation as Managing Director for Advertising.


Academia called and she stood as Senior Industry Fellow at the De La Salle University College of St. Benilde and Professorial Lecturer at the University of the Philippines.


She was a consultant and trainer for the Philippine government, and corporations like CITI, AXA, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Microsoft, Wunderman, NuWorks among other digital and traditional agencies.

JUANITA MEGA

APAC Head of Business Development

As Hyper Island’s APAC Head of Business Development, Juanita is at the forefront in education and people development, leading strong partnerships with senior management and driving solutions around transformative learning initiatives, helping clients identify growth and unlocking value across businesses. 


Juanita thrives at the intersection of business transformation, technology and workplace culture, and enjoys diving into complex, nuanced business challenges.  She enjoys high levels of collaboration, working in agile tribes, infusing design thinking when crafting solutions for her clients and she displays courage and will embrace risk, as needed to further business goals.

With a background in facilitation and executive coaching, Juanita listens beyond words.   An avid learner with a belief in life long learning, she recently completed the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance, and is completing the Michael Losier Certified Law of Attraction Facilitator programme.

PAVITER SINGH

Head of Courses & Facilitator

Paviter is a developer at heart who has been working within the digital realm for the past 20 years. From developing sound algorithms for the web to designing video games, he has worked on multiple platforms and roles within digital. 


Paviter is an experienced facilitator who is passionate about education. As the Head of Courses for Asia, Paviter designs and develops new learning formats in areas such as UX, Data, Growth Hacking, Agile and Digital Technologies.

When he is not, he runs ultramarathons to get out of his comfort zone.

YENG WAI LEONG

As Master's Programme Director, Yeng Wai has returned to the place that kickstarted his personal journey of transformation. A lifelong learner with a wide-ranging and eclectic mix of interests, he continues to experiment at the intersection of human + digital + behavioural sciences, and is a firm believer in and practitioner of iterative learning by doing.


Yeng Wai began his career as an educator in the Singapore Ministry of Education. He cycled through different stops as lecturer, researcher, and leader, and dabbled in digital tools and projects before tapping out to pursue the Hyper Island Masters in Digital Management. 


His transformation journey has since gifted him with varied opportunities and experiences from leading product management and development at a HRTech start-up, to consulting on digital transformation and innovation with a global non-profit, to prototyping data-driven dashboards at an award-winning cultural institution.

MARIANA MALUF

Master's Programme Manager

Mari is a strategist and a researcher who believes that having a deep understanding of users and consumers is the key to brilliant innovations. With over 15 years of experience unearthing trends and insights positions across 4 different continents, she has come to deeply understand the nuanced differences between different cultures and social groups.


As Programme Manager, Mari will facilitate modules, develop experiences and support the student cohorts throughout their learning journey. 


Mari is a trained facilitator and a moderator who has an inclination for analytics and data modelling, and she is a firm believer and a witness to the outstanding power of combining big data with deep data. Her work with marketing mix modelling and analytics helped optimise digital campaigns and accelerate the ROI of assets in markets as diverse as USA and Kenya.

DEVAPRAKASH GIRETHEREN

CTO & Facilitator, SCRUM Master

As a Chief Technology Officer and facilitator, Dev’s goal is to break down the complexity of the technology landscape into Hyper Island’s culture.


Dev began his career in Switzerland. Working in the Swiss Broadcasting organization, he tapped on all the broadcasting options, such as audio, video, Print and Internet Media. Navigating through the different distribution channels, he also won prices in Usability and Search Engine optimisation. By producing together with Journalist high-quality content, he understood the beat of the media landscape and the importance of handling Data.


He was assigned to lead national government projects, while leading journalists, Tech people, and media producers to relaunch their digital strategy.


Relocating to Singapore from Switzerland was a personal decision. By joining Hyper Island as Student, he realized his strengths and weaknesses, which helped him transform. He joined Hyper Island as a tech driver and a certified Scrum master to bring in agility. Technology is faster than we can imagine, and keeping learning in Progress is the only way to satisfy our learners need.

romulo castilho

Brand Experience & Innovation

Romulo has 12 years of experience in transforming teams and organisations.


His expertise includes ecosystem mapping, customer journey design and optimisation, employee engagement, implementation planning and retail design.


At Hyper Island, Romulo designs systems of transformation that have the power to make a change at scale in organisations.


He works closely with leaders, building long-term blended learning programmes, leveraging on technology to infuse a new culture and help people shift mindsets, behaviours, and ways of working. 


In his role, he also does facilitation and coaching while delivering some of these programmes.

DIVYA PARMAR

Client Partner & Facilitator

Divya is a client partner with a passion for improving ways of working. Her love for learning brought her to Hyper Island after spending 5 years in learning and development, managing leadership trainings programme where she worked with clients from various industries – FMCG, banking, insurance, advertising etc. 

She moved to Singapore in 2011 with her husband and has worked with DBS, Credit Suisse and Bridge Partnership.


Divya has over 10 years’ of experience in managing projects mainly in the banking industry, been a part of variety of projects including training, transformation, IT, process improvement and standardization. 

In her free time she is a co-curator with TEDxSingapore, curate talks for Singapore community and bring ideas worth spreading to them. She also runs an initiative called Women In Asia, a community showcasing Asian perspectives.

Echo Han

Innovation Manager & Facilitator

Echo has lived and worked in China, India, UK, Taiwan, Indonesia and now Singapore as an education start-up founder, political negotiator and project manager at technology companies. 


A believer in education and continued learning, Echo joined Hyper Island as a Master’s student in 2018. The Island helped to find confidence in learning quickly, across industries and using technology to improve processes, services and transform businesses.


At Hyper Island, she works with clients to ensure the quality of their learners’ experiences. 


In her role, she also works on projects to improve Hyper Island’s work processes and run experiments to bring new and innovative education experiences to more learners in Asia. 


In her free time, she loves to read recipes and occasionally cook what she learnt. She is also a trained classical piano, oboe and Suona player, though her only audience being her husband and two children for the moment. 

Swee Lyn Nah

Swee Lyn is in a constant state of personal and professional growth. In her latest evolution, she has joined the education industry, teaming with one of the most innovative business schools in the world. Prior to Hyper Island, she was a consultant in London and Singapore for communications projects.

Swee Lyn began her non-traditional career path in creative agencies, then she crossed over to brand organisations for well-loved brands, such as Levi’s, Coca-Cola, Microsoft Xbox. She’s been involved in startup businesses and communities of entrepreneurs, musicians, artists and makers; building mutually rewarding relationships with social and cultural awareness for over 20 years globally.

Unifying the threads of Swee Lyn’s transdisciplinarity is her passion for human-centred innovation and growth. She aspires to impact self-led learners to whole-heartedly learn with their hearts and minds. Pottery-making, trail running and family keeps her grounded.

Ken Johari

Finance Manager

Ken is Hyper Island Asia’s Finance Manager and Data Protection Officer. With an acute focus towards transformation and growth of the business, he manages all areas of accounting and finance (including commercial finance), people operation and business compliance matters. At Hyper Island, he has successfully implemented new systems in accounting, expense claim, time reporting, profitability dashboards for effectiveness in decision making across teams.


Ken has worked in a global creative agency, auditing firm and manufacturing, being well-versed in Finance, Management Accounting, Auditing and Administration. He is a certified ACCA Chartered accountant and a Bachelor of Science (Applied Accounting) graduate from Oxford Brookes University. 


A continuous learner, he has diversified his skills by completing multiple of professional programmes such as Stock Value Investing, Making Investments Work, Singapore Contract Law, PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act), Cyber Security Practices, etc.


He is on the look-out for the next learning opportunity to help transform and improve the lives of the people around him.

Zainon Samsudin

MA Student Administration & Office Manager

Zai, affectionately known as “Campus Mama”, is Hyper Island Asia’s Student Admissions and Office Manager. With over 18 years of experience in education, she manages the Hyper Island’s campus facilities, resourcing, administration and the Master of Arts (Digital management) students admission process. 


Outside of work, Zai engages with off-roading. The constancy of having to navigate over rocks and through mud pits has given her greater control and connection with her vehicle’s performance and with the road. This mirrors her work life - driven by teamwork, perseverance and determination, together with improvisation and sharing of ideas within the team. 


Prior to Hyper Island, Zai was supporting the administration of other higher education institutions such as Nanyang Technological University (Nanyang Business School), SIM Global Education and PSB Academy.

VETHASHARMILA SUPRAMANIAM

Project Management Executive

Sharm is a project coordinator with a passion for managing training, e-learning & learning development projects. A problem-solver with mental resilience towards new challenges, she's highly effective in ensuring the smooth running of projects across the business.

She is experienced in managing various projects from F2F sessions, virtual and hybrid sessions, bespoke courses development projects (ADDIE format) and administer activities in the Learning Management Systems (LMS). 

Prior to Hyper Island, Sharm has managed the NTU TEL (Technology-Enhanced Learning) Programme, where she established a robust delivery system to coordinate and manage both vendors and in-house resources for successful and timely delivery of approximately 500 hrs of e-Learning content over a three-year period.

PEI YI FU

Assistant Manager (Finance & Admin)

Peiyi deals with numbers and people on a daily basis. As Assistant Manager (Finance & Admin), she supports Finance, Administration and People Operations, and is responsible for the financial reporting, inter company billing and payments. She also assists in student registrations and administrations matters, and is on the constant lookout for improvements in processes and workflows.


Peiyi prior experience include finance and accounting for a global digital marketing agency, and is a business graduate of SIM-RMIT, majoring in Economics and Finance. 


Peiyi enjoys cycling and solving puzzles, and as a mother of young children, she instills a culture of play through the creation of fun-loving activities.
