Hyper Island Partners Snap to Launch ‘AR Accelerator’ Programme

The first of its kind here in this region, we could not be more excited to announce our partnership with Snap in Asia-Pacific. 

Augmented Reality (AR) is emerging as a key technology for brands to engage with their customers in a more meaningful manner. As a set of technologies that superimposes digital data and images on the physical world, AR promises to release untapped and uniquely human capabilities. 

AR is impacting companies in every industry, from universities to social enterprises. We expect it will transform how we learn, make decisions, and interact with the physical world. It will also change how enterprises serve customers, train employees, design and create products and manage their value chains, and ultimately, how they compete.

In fact, by 2025, nearly 75% of the global population and almost all smartphone users will be frequent AR users. From being just for entertainment and self-expression to having true utility for both consumers and businesses, Snapchat AR has evolved. 

As educational partners, this concise and bespoke AR Accelerator programme is designed to inspire and support our learner’s growth, targeted at digital creatives, marketers and brand managers aimed to accelerate our learner’s understanding of AR and its integration in marketing strategies. This would be co-facilitated by Hyper Island Asia’s Head of Courses, Paviter Singh, and Head of Creative Strategy APAC at Snap Inc, Gareth Leeding.
