Machine Learning using Python for 🇮🇳 & 🇵🇭
Machine Learning with Python is an advanced level course in understanding how to perform predictive analytics using complex algorithms and machine learning. Participants will learn to write programs in Python which can perform complex level of analytics and create, predict and evaluate using various machine learning models. Participants who complete learning these skills will finish the course at an advanced level of Python and will be ready to take up further advanced courses in machine and deep learning
Hyper Island sessions are highly interactive and engaging. We let you try things by yourself, work in small group breakout sessions. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and engage with the facilitator. They will share many tools so that you will be able to develop data confidence and use back at work.

- Learn the nuances of machine learning
- Learn when to apply unsupervised learning algorithms
- Nuances of how unsupervised machine learning algorithms work
- How to apply supervised learning algorithms to business cases
- Learn how to code supervised learning algorithms using Python
- Learn how to test and validate machine learning models
- Keys concepts of model evaluation and performance metrics
- Learn to optimize machine learning models using various techniques
- Learn advanced machine learning algorithms
Pre Requisites
Participants attending this course should have a basic knowledge of programming with Python and basic statistics knowledge. Ideally, the participants should have completed the Python for Data Science course.

Selected programmes are accredited under SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and the Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore (IBF), and are eligible for funding for both individuals and organisations. They are eligible for funding either under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS) or SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), subject to all eligibility criteria being met. Our Singapore Campus is located at 991B Alexandra Road, a short walk from Labrador MRT station and directly opposite the PSA building. The 4,800 square foot space has been designed to inspire and enhance learning experiences. In the soundproof classrooms and ample studio space, collaboration and exploration thrive. Each classroom spans 52.7m², accommodating up to 35 students.
Unlike a conventional school campus, our space resembles an advertising agency, allowing for live project work, inspiration, and collaboration.

Please note that laptops are not provided by Hyper Island. Students are required to bring their own laptops for the course. WiFi will be available, and open-source tools will be utilised. Extension cables are provided so that laptops can be charged while in use.
